Top identity-based attacks blind spots in 2023
Ransomware attacks have been around for more than a decade. However, in the course of the past three years they have transformed from a disturbing nuisance to a critical business operation risk. This increased impact is directly related to the incorporation of lateral movement in ransomware attacks and the use of compromised credentials, taking advantage of critical identity protection security gaps. In this session, we’ll explore the dynamics of ransomware evolution, understand what are the top blind spots that lateral movement leverages on, and introduce a new approach to solving for those blinds spots. The entire session is built on analyses of recent real-life cyberattacks, taken from both publicly disclosed data as well as Silverfort’s in-house threat analysis team.
